All users use the same professional ATS-optimized resume template:
- Your Resume: On your Dashboard, find the "Your Primary Resume" card - click "Edit Primary Resume" to modify it
- Download Options: Click "Download Resume" button to choose between PDF or Word format
- Preview: Click the "Preview" button to see how your resume looks
Resume Versions Feature:
- Free users: Can create and store ONE resume
- Premium users: Can create UNLIMITED resume versions
For Premium users - Managing multiple versions:
- Click "View All Versions" or find "Resume Versions" in Premium Features
- Choose "Duplicate Current Resume" to copy and modify for a specific job
- Choose "Start Fresh Resume" to create from scratch
- Click "Set as Primary" to make any version your main resume
- Name versions descriptively (e.g., "Marketing Manager - Tech Companies")
Access job search management tools (Premium feature):
- Job Tracker: From Dashboard, look for "Job Application Tracker" in the Premium Features grid
- Add New Application: In Job Tracker, click the blue "Add Application" button in the top right
- Interview Hub: Click the green "Interview Hub" button at the top of Job Tracker page
- Quick Status Updates: Change application status directly from the tracker list
- Export Data: Use "Export to CSV" button to download all your application data
- Track Stats: View cards showing Total, Applied, Interviewing, and Offers counts
Note: Job Tracker and Interview Hub are premium features available to all paid users (both Professional Toolkit and AI Career Accelerator plans).
Cover Letter Builder location (Premium feature):
- Access: From Dashboard, find "Cover Letters" in the Premium Features section
- Create New: Click "Create New Cover Letter" button in the top right
- AI Generation: Available for AI Career Accelerator plan users
- Manage Letters: View all your cover letters in a grid layout with company and position details
- Quick Actions: Preview, Edit, or Delete buttons on each cover letter card
- Download Options: Download as PDF or DOCX using the buttons on each cover letter card
Premium required: Cover letter builder is available with AI Career Accelerator ($12.95/month) plan only.
Customize your resume appearance and content:
Colors & Fonts (Premium):
- On Dashboard, find "Resume Appearance" section
- Click "Choose Different Color" to select from 8 professional color themes
- Select font: Lato (modern), Helvetica (corporate), or Times Roman (traditional)
- Changes save automatically when you select them
Custom Sections (Available to all users):
- From Dashboard, click "Custom Sections" in the Resume Builder section
- Choose from templates: Projects, Publications, Volunteer Work, Awards & Honors, Certifications
- Or create your own custom section with any title
- Add multiple entries to each section
- Click "Save All Changes" to save your custom sections
Note: Colors and fonts are premium features. Custom sections are available to all users including free accounts.
Account management is located in the Dashboard sidebar:
- Profile Settings: Update your personal information and email
- Billing & Subscription: View current plan, next billing date, and payment methods
- Upgrade/Change Plan: Switch between Free, Professional Toolkit ($9.95), or AI Career Accelerator ($12.95)
- Security Settings: Change password and manage account security
- Current Plan Details: See your plan benefits in the "Your Current Plan" card
Billing transparency: No hidden fees, cancel anytime, and all premium features are clearly marked throughout the app. Early access pricing is locked in forever!
AI-powered qualitative resume feedback available on your Dashboard:
- Location: Find "AI Resume Analysis" section on your Dashboard
- Get Analysis: Click "Get AI Resume Analysis" button
- Qualitative Feedback: Receive detailed written feedback on your resume's strengths and areas for improvement
- Multiple Perspectives: Click "Get Another Perspective" for different AI insights
- Fix Issues: Click "Return to Resume Builder to Fix Issues" to make improvements
What the AI analyzes:
- Free users: Basic feedback focusing on spelling, grammar, completeness, and missing sections
- Paid users (both plans): Enhanced analysis including:
- Content quality and impact assessment
- STAR method usage in accomplishments
- Credibility and professional tone analysis
- Job alignment feedback (when job description provided)
- AI Career Accelerator bonus: Full AI assistance throughout the entire resume building process - not just analysis but active improvement suggestions for every section
Update your account information from the Dashboard:
- Profile Settings: Dashboard → Account Management → "Profile Settings"
- Personal Info: Update first name, last name, email, and username
- Professional Demographics (Optional): Add industry, income range for better career insights
- Account Info: View member since date and last login
Privacy: Professional demographics are completely optional and private. They never appear on your resume and are used only for personalized career insights.
Access security settings from your Dashboard:
- Location: Dashboard → Account Management → "Security Settings"
- Change Password: Enter current password, then new password (8+ characters)
- Login Activity: View recent login history and active sessions
Password Requirements:
- At least 8 characters long
- Include uppercase and lowercase letters
- Include at least one number
- Include at least one special character
